    Position Summary

    Bridgestone Americas' is seeking an environmental scientist or engineering intern to work in their Nashville, TN Corporate Headquarters. This is a paid internship for a current student (junior or higher) or recent graduate preferably in the physical/chemical sciences, environmental science, or engineering. This is a full time position. Work schedule will be determined with successful candidate.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with corporate and site environmental professionals to assist with various projects ranging from onsite plant reviews of water conspicuous standards implementation at sites to EPA chemical reporting data QA/QC
    • Assist with data management and new EHSS software implementation
    • Work to learn, understand, and also encourages safe work practices at all times
    • Attends various internal and external meetings to gain broader understanding of topic
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Student at an accredited college or university
    • Minimum of 3 years of environmental science/engineering coursework
    • Ability to think critically, act independently, and interdependently
    • Ability to meet deadlines
    • Be self motivated and driven to complete tasks at hand
    • Significant level of multi-tasking required
    • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
