    Position Summary

    Bridgestone Americas Building Product Division is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst to support our Manufacturing division. In addition to working closely with the Manufacturing Finance team, this position will function as a key partner to senior members of the business leadership team. This role is a perfect fit for a finance professional looking to leverage their strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide business insights and decision support for the Manufacturing business.


    • Manage all aspects of product cost for manufacturing operations to include standard cost, cost estimates, planning, and optimization. 
    • Detailed cost analysis and modeling 
    • Continuous analysis and appropriate modification of standard cost system and approach to best suit business and financial requirements. 
    • Budget preparation, presentation, and analysis 
    • Business planning and forecasting 
    • Strategic financial analysis and modeling 
    • Ad hoc project work 
    • Strong data analysis skills to help develop recommendations and present the business “story” 
    • Ability to think strategically and help translate business strategy into action 
    • Be a team player and bring a “roll-up-your-sleeves” self starter mentality to the job 
    • Strong communication and presentation skills


    • Accounting, Finance, Business or technical-related bachelor’s degree 
    • 3 years of related work experience 
    • Superior MS Excel and Access skills

    MBA preferred
