    Position Summary

    The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate implementation of corporate and business-unit level environmental management programs and digital systems. Position will administer and improve all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHSS) systems for collection, review and examination of data or information, which may be financial or operational, and process and prepare it for use for purposes of enhancing the management decision-making capabilities of the EHSS function, including internal and external performance reporting. This position will support the implementation of the NEW functionally critical enterprise-level digital platform (INTELEX) with global reach that will meet the growing EHSS requirements from internal expectations, contractual obligations, the BOSS and drive sustainable activity. Responsible for identifying opportunities and best practices across the company to reduce the Business Unit and Enterprise costs of separate standalone data management platforms and strengthen adoption of a common user interface.


    • ​Identify, track, and report on key performance Indicators relevant to EHSS aspects and impacts to drive accountability and performance measurement
    • Project management, technical support, oversight and improvement of environmental information management system and INTELEX implementation for EHSS.
    • Super- user/administrator for INTELEX software
    • Interpret data and provide recommendations to improve energy efficiency, recycling, waste disposal, water use and air pollution control
    • Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to assigned program areas
    • Audit facilities and programs to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and corporate standards
    • Perform industry benchmarking analyses regarding environmental aspects, programs, and performance
    • Evaluate and maintain general knowledge of external environmental programs and certifications and make recommendations for application within the company
    • Serve as a technical resource to BSAM Business Units and facilities using a single operating system for EHSS monitoring, reporting and best practice sharing
    • Assist in strategic planning, procedure development, standardization, and program implementation


    • BS degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering or related science
    • Four years of professional experience in an Engineering or Scientific field implementing environmental activities to conserve natural resources, working in an environmental management system; or environmental regulatory compliance assurance
    • INTELEX or equivalent digital systems super user experience and configuration experience preferred.
