The Senior Analyst, Treasury will support various capital markets and financial planning activities, including debt issuance and cash flow forecasts. This position will have a leading role in different pension related responsibilities, will support global treasury initiatives, and will work with multiple business units. The Senior Analyst will also have to prepare various executive presentations.
•Support all debt issuance activities, including revolver and ABS facilities, commercial paper, term loans, etc.
•Prepare market analyses, debt forecasts, etc.
•Monitor debt covenants, run tests to ensure compliance, and prepare monthly executive reports
•Responsible for all debt maturities, lease buyout dates, ABS Investor Reports, and various debt related executive presentations
•Gather securitization data from businesses monthly and consolidate in ABS report to issuing bank
•Work with multiple business units to issue required letters of credit using approved counterparties; monitor quarterly expenses
•Responsible for all debt agreements documentation
•Prepare monthly investment reports for various pension plans; monitor performance to ensure investment managers follow Bridgestone guidelines.
•Recommend investment allocation changes to comply with Bridgestone's de-risking strategy
•Monitor cash accounts to ensure proper funding available for benefit payments
•Work closely with accounting, HR, SSC, etc. to monitor pension expenses; execute all eligible expenses on a monthly basis
•Work closely with FP&A to support all budget cycles to estimate debt requirements
•Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow forecasts, including variance analyses for both short and long term cycles
•Work closely with Corporate Accounting to consolidate debt reports to ensure accuracy
•Prepare monthly reports to track cash and debt balances, interest expense and income
•Support the global implementation of Reval (Bridgestone's Treasury Management System). Work with all regions during the deployment efforts
•Ensure all debt instruments are accurately maintained in Reval
•Support ad-hoc Treasury projects
•Prepare reports of key financial metrics to be used by senior management and global banks
•Maintain the monthly Treasury dashboard, which is used to track debt, cash balances, bank fees, foreign exchange and commodity exposures, letters of credit, etc.
•Prepare quarterly debt reports to be used by Bridgestone Japan; assist FP&A in various schedule submissions
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics.
•Five years' experience in a Financial or Treasury Analyst role.
•Strong desire to continuously enhance analysis skills and develop professionally.
•Solid presentation and communication skills.
•Excellent ability needed to multi-task.
•Knowledge of banking and treasury principles and practices a plus.
•Quantitative analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
•Strong business and financial acumen.
•Must have strong skills with Excel and MS Access; Reval, a plus
•Masters Degree or MBA
•Organizational and project management experience, preferred
•Ability to work collaboratively across functional/organizational boundaries
