The Bridgestone Bloomington OTR Plant is an Off the Road Tire plant that produces construction and mining tires for worldwide operations. This Plant of approx. 440 Total Salaried, Hourly, and Full-Time Contractor teammates has been operational since August 1965.
We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic (Multi-Craft) within the Bloomington Plant unionized Maintenance area. This is a full time position. The successful candidate needs to be prepared to work a 12 hour night shift in a manufacturing environment. Successful candidate must be prepared to participate in a pre-employment screening process involving background check, drug testing, and physical process. Successful candidate must also be prepared to become a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #99 Union upon hire.
Under New Contract we will review new maintenance teammates will have potential and opportunity to be tested, assessed, and reviewed for Multi-Craft Maintenance level of job classification and pay.
Principal duties including but not limited to:
*Coordinate Production and fellow Maintenance Associates to maximize machine utilization.
*Perform duties in accordance with all Safety Procedures including those mandated by NFPA 70E.
*Utilize electronic test equipment (including computers) as well as schematics and technical manuals.
*Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and building equipment.
*Communicate and document troubleshooting efforts as well as recommend solutions to the problem.
*Industrial Mechanics and Troubleshooting
Qualified candidates will have 2-year technical degree or equivalent certification PLUS 5 years experience in industrial electronics sytem installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Allen Bradley PC, AC, and DC drives or 5 Years Industrial Mechanics.
