    Position Summary

    Analyze and develop work measurement and productivity controls for production departments. Assist with analyzing manufacturing process and machinery for increased efficiency, safety and quality. Prepare detailed cost analysis on labor and methods. Analyze production ticket forecasts and operating efficiency, overtime, manpower & machine utilization.  Position requires the ability to learn the production process and equipment in assigned areas. Must communicate with production workers, technicians, accounting, management, corporate support groups, and counterparts in other production facilities.  Position will require time on a production floor environment with exposure to noise, temperature extremes, machinery and mobile equipment.


    • Analyze monthly ticket forecasts and long-range forecasts and advise IE manager and plant manager on plant capacity, impact, and timetable for introduction of new product lines
    • Analyze and make recommendations on plant operations with respect to operating efficiency of departments, overtime, manpower, and machine utilization, production controls, line balancing, and general operating practices
    • Determine staff and production manpower requirements for all current operations, expansions, and production conversions
    • Determine manpower budgets to meet monthly tickets
    • Prepare analyses of actual hours vs. budgeted hours


    • BS in Industrial Engineering with 0-3 years' experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
    • Experience with continuous improvement, capacity planning, cost improvements, removing bottlenecks, manpower refinements, and root-cause analysis
    • Proficient with MS Office
