    Position Summary

    Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers, has a job opportunity for Production Technicians at the Wilson, North Carolina Passenger Tire Plant. The Wilson Plant currently employs approximately 1,800 team members. 

    Responsibilities

    Specific position roles and responsibilities vary depending on the area of the plant.  Potential applicants must be able to perform physical requirements which include, but not limited to, handling materials or tires on a repetitive basis weighing up to and exceeding 100 pounds (mechanical assistance available for heavier weights).  Positions require standing, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting and reaching.  Some positions require driving mobile equipment.  Must be able to work a continuous rotating shift schedule in a non climate controlled environment.

    Qualifications

    Must successfully complete the Basics of Tire Manufacturing Course at either Edgecombe Community College, Nash Community College, or Wilson Community College

     

    OR

     

    Have at least 2 years prior manufacturing experience in the past 7 years

     

    *All applicants must successfully complete the Basic Skills Test.

    * Must successfully complete all required pre-employment assessments or screenings.
