This position directs, controls and organizes the activities of maintenance teammates to support the daily production, quality and safety objectives of the plant. This position coordinates maintenance foremen and contract maintenance activities with other production departments to assure attainment of plant objectives. Oversees and directs development of teammates.
Attain maintenance objectives on a daily basis, including coordinating and establishing plans for meeting daily maintenance requirements to support production. Responsible for directing the maintenance resources to improve productivity and correct deficiencies. Responsible for directing and controlling all departmental activities to promote effectiveness, including monitoring and analyzing departmental performance and cost reduction procedures. This position is also responsible for personnel administration including providing leadership and direction to maintenance teammates, supervising and directing all activities relating to personnel administration, assisting with the selection of new maintenance teamamtes, identifying training needs, coaching and counseling and maintaining a good work environment. This position is also responsible for maintaining quality standards, ensuring a safe work environment for all teammates and ensuring environmental compliance.
10 years plant maintenance experience including 4 years supervisory experience OR Bachelors degree and 6 years plant maintenance experience with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
