    Position Summary

    The Original Equipment (OE) Account Manager supports Ford and General Motors sales and operational activities.


    The OE Account Specialist will work with the Ford and GM Original Equipment Sales Team to support the current book of business and obtain future business by:

    • Building strong relationships with OEM customers and internal stakeholders
    • Proactively responding to OEM and internal stakeholder needs
    • Actively learning about products and technologies vis-à-vis OEM requirements and Bridgestone processes and standards
    • Representing OE Sales in cross-functional team meetings, processes, and issue resolution

    Daily activities will include:

    • Pricing recommendations, cost analysis, NPV analysis
    • Budgeting, forecasting, and demand planning
    • OE Contract Reviews
    • OE Business Feasibility Reviews
    • Face-to-face meetings with OEM customers
    • Represent OE Sales in APQP Process, New Project Gate Process, Engineering Program Management Process, Product Life-cycle Review Process, Cost/Complexity Reviews
    • Customer Scorecard Reviews
    • New Business “Pipeline Reviews” with OEM customers
    • Support OE Sales Team with OE customer requests which could include activities in the areas of capacity planning, supply-chain planning and issue resolution, tire development & program management, quality, logistics, tire orders, accounts receivable collections, complexity reduction, obsolescence claims, return goods authorizations, Universal Product Code requests for new parts, and other operational tasks.
    • Research market dynamics and customer trends to enhance strategic and business planning processes
    • Maintaining sales data and information required in customer web-portals
    • Support BI Analyst to create monthly forecasts and reports


    • Four year college degree in Engineering or Business
    • Engineering degree preferred as this is technical sales role
