    Position Summary

    The Consumer Replacement Tire Retail Marketing team is accountable for turning brand communication campaigns into customer and channel-specific marketing plans. The Associate Retail Marketing Manager is accountable for leading channel-specific marketing initiatives that engage consumers down the path to purchase influencing their buying behavior at each level in the funnel. This position will collaborate with Brand and Digital Marketing teams as well as Sales teams to create programs that align with objectives to drive growth in the affiliated dealer channel through sell-in and sell-through via demand creation.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and deliver retail marketing plans to drive in-store and online sales of Bridgestone and Firestone consumer replacement tires in the independent/local dealer channels as well as OE and government channels.
    • Integrate with Brand and Digital Marketing teams in the development and execution of retailer programs with a consistent consumer experience across all touch-points (in-store, mobile, digital, social, etc.) to build brand equity.
    • Manage agency and vendor relationships to deliver programs through strong project management, budgeting, creative briefs from ideation through execution.
    • Maintain BridgestoneMarketing.com, plan and activate marketing campaigns, and purchase marketing assets while identifying and budgeting future enhancements across all business units.
    • Maintain our portfolio of marketing services through BridgestoneMarketing.com. Including: services, showroom, brand equity, and third-party vendors (direct mail, media buying, showroom design, etc.)
    • Manage showroom program by developing new showroom items, managing inventory levels, profit margins, and conducting an annual physical inventory at end of year
    • Oversee OE photography in conjunction with Consumer Replacement imagery and host on BridgestoneMarketing.com
    • Establish excellent partnership with key Sales stakeholders to maintain Bridgestone as partner of choice and leader in tire retail marketing.
    • Complete analysis of program activation and post-program effectiveness.
    • Develop learning plan to measure and track program results and dealer satisfaction
    • Synthesize pricing, distribution, and sales information to make informed business decisions.
    • Manage monthly budget and showroom margins, advertising scope of work, and key deliverables.
    • Monitor and benchmark competitive activities and strategies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus)
    • Minimum of 5 years total brand management, shopper marketing, or sales experience that includes working directly with franchises/retailers/dealers
    • Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams in developing marketing programs
    • Take charge mentality with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” orientation, commitment to accountability and ownership, and a strong work ethic
    • Ability to integrate information from several sources to arrive at conclusions. Must be able to use intuition, logical reasoning, and innovation to solve problems
    • Ability to plan at a strategic level, including project management
    • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
