    Position Summary

    The Marketing Project Manager role is an important part of Bridgestone's Consumer & Commercial Marketing Teams. The Marketing Integrated Project Manager will lead the cross functional project & portfolio planning processes, facilitate the stage/gate governance and the execution of New Product Launches for the Consumer & Commercial Tire Business.  The role will lead New Product Launches for the Bridgestone and Firestone Brands for the United States and Canada.  Newly launched products account for approximately $400M in annual revenue for BATO Consumer & Commercial businesses accordingly.  The role requires frequent interaction with functional stakeholders, including BATO's Presidents. 


    • Responsible to catalog existing new product launch processes and activities, including escalation procedures, to establish a baseline and apply best practices to improving the end-to-end process and mitigate risks.
    • Lead all new product launches to ensure a holistic view is being employed across products and cross functional areas (advanced planning) consistent with the company's business strategies and expected outcomes.
    • Implement and manage stage gate processes with peers & leadership.
    • Identify project risk and lead in mitigation activities; elevating as applicable.
    • Use change management to identify effective and efficient continuous improvement activities.
    • Define and/or document the related discipline sub-processes. Work with sub-process (functional) representatives to ensure their practices are well-aligned with the goals of the overall New Product Process.
    • Define requirements for and participate in the selection and maintenance of applications and infrastructure needed to support the New Product Process / IBP process.


    • Minimum four-year Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred
    • Minimum eight years total or 3+ years post-MBA experience in a combination of the following areas: Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Marketing & Sales
    • Strong project management skills, including demonstrated experience in leading large cross functional projects.
    • Project Management Professional certifications and formal training preferred.
    • Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams; including peers and leadership
    • Demonstrated analytics skills and a detail-oriented approach to solving issues to manage projects.
    • Ability to integrate multiple sources of information to arrive at conclusions.
    • Must be able to use intuition, logical reasoning, and innovation to solve problems.
    • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
    • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong Microsoft Product skills.
    • Strong innovation & continuous improvement mindset.
