    Position Summary

    This role will have responsibility for project management of major capital projects including, but not limited to, tire plant
    renovation and expansion. It requires proven experience and successful track record in project management, enterprise
    communication and engineering. This position is required to manage performance to project budget, schedule and scope.  

    This role is involved in project justification, master schedule generation,
    resource coordination (construction, equipment, plant and engineering), change management and continuous improvement. Project Managers are expected to provide clear
    communication to stakeholders throughout each phase of the project. Project Managers may be expected to work on
    multiple projects and with multiple teams.


    • Independently initiates and establishes a plan to meet customer requirements for a new or changed product, process, system or technology.
    • Leads design efforts for new or revised products, processes, systems and technologies. Conducts design, project and/or management
    • Proposes new programs/projects to enhance performance or increase capabilities for the business. Plans and executes the programs/
    • Leads projects including defining scope, design criteria, budgets, resource needs, and establishing and managing to the project schedule.
      Ensures the cost effective and timely completion of project deliverables.
    • Contributes to the planning and development of engineering strategy, and provides technical leadership, for the area of the organization to
      which they are assigned.
    • Coaches and mentors more junior engineers, indirectly responsible for their technical development.
    • Acquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams.
    • Provide guidance on technical issues to other technical departments.
    • Takes responsibility for maintaining their technical skills and staying up to date on changing regulations, advances in the field, and new technologies relevant to their work. Attends appropriate seminars and training to maintain and increase technical skill set.



    • Requires Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical degree
    • 5+ years of Project of Program Management experience



    • PMP
    • PE is a plus
    • Bi-lingual is a plus
    • Construction experience highly desired
    • Tire and/or rubber plant experience highly desired
