    Position Summary

    Under direct supervision, incumbent learns and performs a variety of specialized office support duties in the transportation department to support the warehouse operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate a computer using basic word processing and spreadsheet entry and manipulation skills; operate other standard office equipment; photocopy machine, fax, multi-purpose telephone lines
    • Knowledge of SAP a plus
    • Proper business phone etiquette
    • Knowledge of alphabetical and numerical filing procedure
    • Organize and maintain office and specialized files
    • Communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing; understand and follow written and oral instructions; prepare clear, accurate and concise records and reports; establish and maintain effective working relationship with staff, the public and others encountered in the course of work
    • Prepares and mails correspondence
    • Assist other office clerks

    Qualifications

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and be able to perform specific functions in Word, Excel and PowerPoint formats.
    • High school graduate
