    Position Summary

    This role supports the Mold Engineering process for developing new tire designs through 3D modeling.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you will:

    • Develop best in class, fully robust, parametric CAD models that are driven through equations, relations, and logic based programming
    • Interact with a cross functional development team to define, analyze, and predict tire tread performance using our in-house developed tools, and FEA software
    • Be an active contributor in developing, refining, and optimizing our modeling best practices
    • Learn new ways of doing things from some of the most highly skilled Creo users in the area in our regular training sessions
    • Work with a highly motivated, and supportive team in a family style atmosphere
    • Use experience, knowledge, and creativity to conceive and implement ideas for new technology development in 3D modeling and mold tooling
    • Participate in cross functional team activities to support short and long term business needs and projects

    Grow your skill set, develop PTC Creo mastery, and become a mentor to others within Bridgestone

    Qualifications

    Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering

    3D Modeling experience

     

    Preferred:

    3D Modeling using Creo
