    Position Summary

    Warehouse Trucker for the Plainfield Indiana Distribution Center, will load and unload product from flatbed or box trucks.  This position will pick orders from warehouse, palletized and prepare for shipping to customers.

    Responsibilities

    • The safe loading and unloading of pick up delivery trucks. Flatbed and van trailers are used for both pick up and delivery and specific safety precautions are required for both personnel and property.
    •  Proper identification of items received for warehousing accuracy, including but not limited to shelf life products, Mod Bit rolls and Mod Bit accessories, BUR rolls and BUR accessories.
    •  Operation of a forklift is a necessity as is proficiency in performing warehouse activities requiring standard fork blades, long fork blades, single rug poles.
    • Knowledge of product loading and assembly characteristics to be efficient when picking and assembling pallets.
    • Efficiency when operating a forklift to load and unload accessory racks and operating in the drive in racks.
    • Clean and pick up any wrapping material, cardboard, or loose packaging material.
    • Sweep and organize as needed.
    • Dispose of broken pallets which are no longer functional and cleaning any broken pallet pieces.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • Able to walk, set or stand long period at a time
    • Able to lift 50 lbs
    • Able to work in hot or cold environments. 
    • Physical mobility to squat, stoop, bend, climb, and walk
    • Must be willing and able to work overtime, especially on short notice.
