  • Position Summary

    The Market Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales in their assigned market thru management of the CSR’s, target account acquisitions, key account compliance management, and sales development within the market. The Market Sales Manager will report to the Market Manager and will ensure that sales growth planning and execution are taking place.

    Responsibilities

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Leadership of CSRs, Store, and End Users through salesforce
    • Goal Planning, Performance Review, and Development Planning
    • Target Account Conversions
    • Wins / Losses / Pricing / Competitive Activity
    • Key Account Performance and Compliance
    • GCR Representation for major National and Non-National Accounts
    • New Account Generation
    • Sales $’s, Service $’s, Units, GP $ Performance for the market vs. PY and Market share growth targets

     

    Individual Accountabilities

     

    • Fosters a company-wide culture of safety to raise awareness and ultimately reduces teammate risk, claims, and cost
    • Coaches CSR’s on utilization of tools, processes, and techniques to better serve Boss and grow sales. Routinely reviews sales results and productivity.
    • Executes Key Account Strategy and coordinates cross-store selling efforts and program requirements for larger regional and national account growth within Market while working with Key Account Managers, Market Manager, and Region Manager.
    • Weekly reporting of key sales activities for the market through Salesforce with RM and MM.
    • Ensures proper CSR staffing levels are met with growth goals and accountability measures in place
    • Makes calls with each CSR observing utilization of tools, processes, and techniques providing feedback and direction.
    • Accountable for a small book of local key account business.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Automotive field OR equivalent experience preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-unit sales at district or area level
    • 3+ years of supervisory sales management preferred
